Refund & Cancellation Policy

Love Functional Medicine is a self-pay medical practice. We want our financial policies to be clear before you schedule or purchase a service.

Medical Visits and Services

Fees for medical consultations, follow-up visits, certifications, record review, or other professional services are non-refundable once the service has been provided.

Because physician time is reserved specifically for each patient and preparation may occur before an appointment, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the practice’s cancellation policy.

If you have prepaid for a visit or service that has not yet been provided and are eligible for a refund under the cancellation policy, the refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

Monthly Care Subscription

The Monthly Care Subscription is optional and does not require a long-term contract.

You may cancel future subscription renewals at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not generally result in a refund for a subscription period that has already begun or for services already provided during that period.

If a billing error occurs, please contact the practice so that we can review and correct it promptly.

Laboratory Testing and Other Third-Party Charges

Laboratory testing and other services provided by outside companies are subject to the policies of those companies.

Love Functional Medicine does not mark up laboratory testing. Once a laboratory order, specimen collection, test kit, medication, product, or other third-party service has been purchased, processed, shipped, or performed, refunds may not be available through Love Functional Medicine.

Any request involving a charge made directly by a laboratory, pharmacy, or other outside provider should generally be directed to that organization.

Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly or charged more than once, please contact Love Functional Medicine. Verified billing errors will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected circumstances occur. Requests involving unusual circumstances may be reviewed individually. Any exception to this policy is at the discretion of Love Functional Medicine and does not create an obligation to make the same exception in the future.

Questions About a Charge

If you have a question or concern about a payment, please contact Love Functional Medicine before initiating a payment dispute whenever possible. We will make a good-faith effort to review the charge and resolve legitimate billing concerns.
